Night temperature falls in Orissa, Jharkhand

Pune, Dec 6 (UNI) Night temperatures were appreciably below normal in north Orissa and in some parts of Jharkhand and were below normal in Kerala.

They were appreciably to markedly above normal in Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Punjab, Jammu and Kashmir, east Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, north Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada, Vidarbha and Chattisgarh and were above normal in north Konkan and Telangana.

They were normal over the rest of the country.

Rain or snow are likely to occur at many places in Jammu and Kashmir, Uttaranchal and Himachal Pradesh.

Rain or thundershowers are likely to occur at a few places in Punjab and Nicobar Islands and at isolated places in Haryana, Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Andman Islands and Lakshadweep.

Mainly dry weather will prevail over Uttar Pradesh, Gujarat, Konkan and Goa, Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada, Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka.

Rain or snow have occurred at most places in Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh and at a few places in Uttarnchal.

Rain or thundershowers have occurred at isolated places in Haryana, Punjab and Andman and Nicobar Islands. Mainly dry weather prevailed over Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan and Lakshadweep.
