MUL launches 'Zen Estilo' for 'young Indians'

Ahmedabad, Dec 6: Car market leader Maruti Udyog Ltd (MUL) unveiled its new Zen Estilo here today.

''The launch of stylish new Zen Estilo, will further strengthen MUL's position in the compact car segment where it also offers Alto and new-look WagonR,'' Maruti Udyog Limited Chief General Manager (Engineering) I V Rao said.

He told mediapersons the Zen Estilo car, (estilo meaning stylish), is more roomier than the original Zen and comes with a bigger engine (1061 cc), is more taller with more boot space and superior air-conditioning while delivering 64 bhp and its low end torque of 84 mm (at 3500 rpm) makes it ideal for Indian city conditions.

Terming the new car as a ''planned re-birth of Zen,'' Mr Rao said Zen Estilo was launched targetting 'young Indians.' The Zen Estilo comes in eight colours.
