Lok Sabha adjourned till 1200 hrs on Babri Masjid issue

New Delhi, Dec 6 (UNI) The Lok Sabha was adjourned till 1200 noon following uproar by the BJP, Shiv Sena and their allies in favour of destruction of the Babri Masjid and the Congress and Left parties opposing it on 14th anniversary of the Babri Masjid demolition day today.

As soon as the House assembled in the morning to take up the Question Hour, the BJP and Shiv Sena members got up waiving placards written ''Jai Shree Ram... Mandir Vahi Banayenge'' (Mandir will be constructed there at the site of Babri Masjid) and ''Afzal ko fansi do'' (Hang Afzal).

The Conggress, SP, Left and other parties opposed the NDA parties vehemently which led to pendemonium, forcing Speaker Somnath Chatterjee to adjnourn the House till 1200 noon.
