Khel-Gaon to be constructed in time : Koda

Ranchi, Dec 6 (UNI) Expressing concen over tardy progress of construction of 'Khel-Gaon' for the proposed National Games, slated to be held here in November next year, Jharkhand Chief Minister Madhu Koda today stressed on expediting the work.

Mr Koda in a review meeting of Culture, Sports and Youth affairs department directed the officials to ensure the construction of Khel-Gaon within the scheduled timeframe.

He said a separate meeting of the concerned officials and ministers would be called to discuss the matter .

Mr Koda also directed to build a 'Sanskriti Bhawan' in the state capital and called for accelerating the process of appointment of para teachers throughout the state.

Mr Koda also instructed the concerned officials to establish 581 new aanganbari centres in nine districts of the state.

Expresseing concern over Meso project report, he said fund allocated in Giridih, Deoghar, Ranchi, Jamtara, Pakur and Simdega had not been spent and directed to distribute cycles among girls studying in Eighth class in government schools.
