Kajaria to set up manufacturing unit in Guj

Ahmedabad, Dec 6 (UNI) Kajaria Ceramics Limited, a tiles manufacturer today said it was in talks with several local players to put up a manufacturing unit in Gujarat.

Ashok Kajaria Chairman and Managing Director of the company said ''We are planning to acquire one of the local tile manufacturing units or may be put one of our own.'' He said as the property developemnt sector is witnessing a boom, tiles are in demand. ''Gujarat is especially growing and that is why we at Kajaria thought of enhancing our presence here,'' he said at a press conference here.

The company inaugurated an office and display showroom today.

Apart from its own range of ceramic and vitrefied tiles, it will also store imported Italian and Spanish tiles for high-end customers.
