Initiate criminal action against CPI(M): PMK

Puducherry, Dec 6 (UNI) The Puducherry unit of Pattali Makkal Katchi (PMK) today urged Lt Governor Mukut Mithi to initiate criminal action against CPI(M) Tamil Nadu State Council Member T Murugan and others for breaching peace.

In a memorandum submitted to Mr Mithi, the PMK pointed out that while Union Health Minister Anbumani Ramadoss was trying hard to make JIPMER an institute of national prominance, Mr Murugan and his other party colleagues resorted to misguiding JIPMER staff and workers, resulting in unnecessary agitations against Minister Anbumnani Ramadoss and PMK Founder leader Dr Ramadoss.

The party urged Lt Governor to take proper action to ensure that no agitations were organised by any organisations here on the JIPMER issue in future.

PMK State Secretary Pon Selvaraj and two Legislators Anantharaman and Velmurgan submitted the memorandum to Lt Governor.
