House of Pearl Fashions buys out logistics warehouse in UK
New Delhi, Dec 6 (UNI) House of Pearl Fashions Ltd, a multinational apparel company, has acquired a new warehouse facility in Milton Keynes, UK, through its subsidiary Poeticgem Ltd for over 2.4 million pounds.
The storage facility will be a garment logistics warehouse with a capacity of nearly 43,000 square feet. Post-acquisition, the total storage capacity of Poeticgem Ltd will now go up to over 90,000 square feet, the company said in a statement here today.
''The buyout of the garment logistics warehouse facility is part of our integration strategy. We believe that supply chain is a critical part of a retailer's businesses today,'' Mr Deepak Seth, Group Chairman, House of Pearl Fashions Ltd, said.
The new warehouse has sophisticated machinery for pre-retail finishing and reprocessing of garments.
House of Pearl Fashions, a ready-to-wear apparel firm, caters to the supply chain demand of major customers in UK such as ASDA, NEXT, Tesco among others.
