Homage to Baba Ambedkar on his 50th death anniversary

Patna, Dec 6 (UNI) Glowing tributes were paid to architect of Indian Constitution, Dr Bhim Rao Ambedkar on his 50th death anniversary today at many functions organised by different organisations in Bihar.

At a function organised by 'Hum Dalit', its founder and JD(U) MLA Professor R R Kanaujia said that ideals of Dr Ambedkar were still relevant for protecting unity and integrity of the country. He said that every one should respect the constitution and efforts to change its basic spirit must be strongly opposed.

In another function of All India United Muslim Morcha, its national president M Ejaj Ali said that Dr Ambedkar had tried his best to bring unity among dalits of all religions. " Had he been alive for some more years, dalits of all other religious community would have given reservations in government services like Sikhs'' he added.
