Granules India signs MoU with PharmaMatch B V

New Delhi, Dec 6 (UNI) Granules India Ltd today said it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with PharmaMatch BV to develop, manufacture and sell formulations in the European market jointly.

The arrangement will kick-off with the transfer of existing marketing authorisations by PharmaMatch to the company for products like Paracetamol where the company is basic and has the necessary skills, sets to deliver the same.

This will use the upcoming finished dosage facility of the company which is expected to be commissioned and fully operational by May 2007.

''PharmaMatch is a renowned finished dosage player in European Union and we expect this relationship to catapult Granules strongly into the European Market,'' company's Managing Director C Krishna Prasad said.

We are expecting this development to speeden up the approval process for the finished dosage facility in the European Union, Mr Prasad added.
