DPCC Committee to study sealing/demolition drive problems

New Delhi, Dec 6 (UNI) Delhi Pradesh Congress Committee President Ram Babu Sharma today constituted a seven-member committee to study in detail the problems arising out of sealing and demolition drive in the capital.

The committee, under the Chairmanship of former union minister and city MP Jagdish Tytler, will also study the steep conversion charges imposed on the traders for getting an area declared commercial, conversion charges to get unauthorised constructions in flats legalised and regularisation of around 1,500 unauthorised colonies in Delhi.

After studying all aspects, the committee will suggest measures for finding a lasting solution acceptable to all, Mr Sharma said.

The Committee would comprise Mr Jagdish Tytler MP (Chairman), Mr Sajjan Kumar MP, Mr Sandeep Dikshit MP, Ms Krishna Tirath MP, Mr R K Anand ex-MP, Mr Pervez Hashmi Secretary All India Congress Committee, Mr Jai Kishasn Secretary AICC.
