Chinese co signs 4 MoUs with India

New Delhi, Dec 6 (UNI) State-owned China National Building Material Group Corporation (CNBM) has signed four Memoranda of Understanding (MoU) with private Indian construction companies.

Speaking with UNI, Chairman of CNBM Song Zhiping expressed hope that more would follow before long. He said China wanted to contribute to India's fast growing economy.

Since the building material industry is closely linked with the national economy and the people's livelihood, he added, the CNBM is eager to fulfill the grand blueprint of social modernisation.

Mr Saadiq, President of the Indo-china body, said the MoUs need not worry any body. "It would only help the Indian construction companies," he said.

The MoU, he claimed, would bind the China with supplying such quality products as cement.
