BMDF demands reconstruction of mosque on original site

New Delhi, Dec 6 (UNI) The Babri Masjid Reconstruction Front today reiterated its demand for reconstruction of the demolished mosque at the original site in Ayodhya.

Marking the 14th year of the Babri Masjid demolition, the Front submitted a seven-point memorandum to President A P J Abdul Kalam.

Front President Shakil Ahmed Sheri demanded punishment for all people involved in the demolition.

''Leaders of Vishwa Hindu Parishad and BJP must be punished for their provocative speeches before the demolition in 1992,'' he added.

''All communal organisations like VHP, Shiv Sena, Bhajrang Dal and Hindu Vahini must be banned,'' He said .

The Front President also demanded handing over of all Babri Masjid demolition cases to the President for time-bound verdict.

''Muslims must be allowed to offer namaz at the original site of the masjid,'' he added.
