Bharti Yadav gets new passport
New Delhi, Dec 6 (UNI) The Ministry of External Affairs today told a sessions court here that Bharti Yadav, who had surrendered her old passport ahead of deposing before the investigative agencies in the Nitish Katara murder case, has been issued a new passport.
The counsel for the ministry, Mr A K Wali, filed an application in the court of Additional Sessions Judge Ravinder Kaur, saying the new passport, bearing number G0677137, was issued on November 28 in favour of Ms Bharti.
Ms Bharti also obtained a UK visa, valid till January 31, 2008, by the British High Commission.
