Asom bandh called to protest Soren's life in prison

Kokrajhar, Dec 6 (UNI) The Adivasi Cobra Militants of Asom (ACMA) has called a 12-hour Asom bandh tomorrow to protest the court verdict indicting Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) leader Shibu Soren.

The ''commander-in-chief'' of the ACMA, currently under ceasefire, today informed that the bandh was to register their protest against the life term sentence of the tribal leader.

The All Assam Adivasi Students' Association had also lent its support to the bandh.
