Airtel reduces price of starter pack

Chennai, Dec 6 (UNI) Airtel, India's leading mobile service provider, today announced the reduction in the price of starter packs in the prepaid segment to simplify the mobile experience of users in Chennai.

Under this, Airtel would offer a simple student prepaid starter pack at Rs 149, with a talk time of Rs 50 and a validity period of seven days.

It would offer the lowest call charge of just 49 paisa per minute.

The cost of starter pack had been reduced from Rs 224 to Rs 149, a company release said.
