AI flight makes emergency landing

Thiruvananthapuram, Dec 6 (UNI) An Air India flight bound for Dubai was forced to make an emergency landing soon after take off at the Thiruvananthapuram International airport following a technical snag.

Soon after the Flight IC-981 took off, the pilot reported the technical snag and he was asked to make an emergency landing, sources said.

As the engineering problem in the flight could not be addressed today, all the passengers would be travelling tomorrow morning in a different flight, they said.

There were 30 passengers and seven crew in the flight and they had been given accommodation, the sources added.
