2 charred to death in road mishap

Barnala, Dec 6 (UNI) Two persons were burnt to death when a fire broke out after a truck-canter collision in this district town today.

The truck, carrying cattle feed, collided with the Canter laden with liquor near Sangam hotel in the town and a fire broke out in which truck cleaner Hardeep and canter driver Harvinder Singh were charred to death, police said.

A case has been registered against truck driver Sukhpal who was absconding after the accident.
