Disney to buy NASN for up to $120 mln: WSJ

New York, Dec 5: Walt Disney Co. has agreed to buy North American Sports Network (NASN), from private-equity firm Benchmark Capital Europe and Setanta Sports Holdings Ltd., a sports broadcaster based in Ireland, the Wall Street Journal reported on its Web site on Tuesday.

The paper said that terms weren't disclosed, but cited a person familiar with the deal saying NASN was being sold for 80 million euros to 90 million euros (7 million to 0 million), including debt assumption.

The London-based cable channel plays North American sports to international audiences.

NASN and Disney were not immediately available for comment.
