Ten Sports to beam final round UEFA Champions League matches live
Mumbai, Dec 4 (UNI) Ten Sports coverage of the UEFA Champions League continues from tomorrow with action from the top games taking place on match day six, the final round of group matches.
With some of the big names in the competition still not guaranteed progress to the knock out stages, Ten Sports has selected the games which have most to play for, a release here today stated.
First up, Ten Sports cameras will be at the New Camp where reigning Champions Barcelona have a difficult match against Bremen.
The Spanish side are currently third in their group and only a win will be good enough to see them progress. Bremen on the other hand just need a point to secure their progress.
The delayed game tomorrow is Bayern Munich against Inter Milan.
The German champions are top of the table with Inter two points behind and both teams are already through but both will also be desperate to finish top of the table.
On Wednesday night Manchester United entertain Benfica, a repeat of their final group match last season that saw the Red Devils eliminated. They will be anxious to avoid the same fate and so are sure to field their strongest side to ensure they avoid defeat. Only a victory will be enough for Benfica to progress to the next round but the Portuguese side have proved many times before they are more than capable of springing a surprise.
Following after, will be coverage of FC Porto against Arsenal.
Porto, champions in 2004 have recovered from a poor start and now have a great chance to get through but in such a tight group there are several permutations. A draw would see both teams qualify for the knockout stages while victory for either would guarantee their progress while the loser would have to sweat on the result between Hamburg and CSKA Moscow. If CSKA fail to win then both Arsenal and Porto qualify whatever the result between them, the release added.
