Novelist Ganga Sujathan bags Poorna-Uroob award

Kozhikode, Dec 4 (UNI) Novelist Ganga Sujathan has been chosen for this year's Poorna-Uroob award instituted by the Poorna Publications.

The award carries a cash prize of Rs 10,000 and citation, said a release here today.

Thrissur Co-operative Arts College student M R Vibin and Kochi Thevara Sacred Heart College's V Alvin have been selected for first and second prices in the short-story competetions.

Both the winners would get cash prizes of Rs 1000, and Rs 500 respectively, alongwith certificate.

The awards would be presented at a function, date of which would be announced later, the release added.
