No land allotted to Reliance in Haryana, says Cong
New Delhi, Dec 4 (UNI) The Congress today claimed that the party-ruled Haryana Government had not acquired even a single acre of land to be allotted to an industrial house for development of Special Economic Zone (SEZ) in the State.
''This may be a revelation to media persons,'' Congress Spokesman Satyavrat Chaturvedi told reporters here.
All such rumours are being spread to malign the Congress Government in Haryana, he said when pointed out that the Supreme Court had given a notice to the Haryana Government on a petition filed by Mr Kuldeep Bishnoi, son of former Haryana Chief Minister Bhajan Lal, challenging the allotment of hundreds of acres of land to Reliance to develop SEZ.
He said the Congress would find out the facts of the case relating to the petition and take suitable action in this regard.
