National president of BJP's kisan morcha to join JVM

Ranchi, Dec 4 (UNI) BJP's Kisan Morcha national president Kalicharan Singh today announced to quit the party and join the Jharkhand Vikas Morcha(Democratic), led by former Chief Minister Babulal Marandi.

Talking to newsmen here, Mr Singh said he had sent his resignation to the BJP high command and would join the JVM(D) after December ten in Chatra.

Mr Singh alleged that the BJP central leaders overlooked the party workers and were surrounded by the people, who had no mass base.

He said the central leadership did not pay any attention to his repeated requests about the party workers, being ignored in Jharkhand.

Meanwhile, Mr Rai said the BJP leaders were not serious about the workers' sentiments and reposed faith in the leadership of the JVM president and newly elected MP from Koderma Babulal Marandi.
