Davkhare consoles lone survivor of Khairlanji massacre

Thane, Dec 3 (UNI) Maharashtra Legislative Council Deputy Chairman Vasant Davkhare has visited Bhaiyyalal Bhotmange, the lone survivor of the Khairlanji massacre, and consoled him in Nagpur during the weekend.

In the massacre, four members of a Dalit family were killed by a group of villagers.

Mr Davkhare assured him that the accused in the case would not be spared and would be dealt firmly. Hence, the case has been handed over to Central Bureu of Investigation (CBI).

District Collector Indu Jain and District Police Commissioner Suresh Sagar accompanied Mr Davkhare.
