Rains likely in Andaman-Nicobar Islands, Haryana, Punjab

Pune, Dec 2 (UNI) Rain or snow are likely to occur at a few places in Uttaranchal, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir.

Rain or thundershowers are likely to occur at a few places in Andman and Nicobar Islands and at isolated place in Haryana, Punjab, west Madhya Pradesh, north Madhya Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Lakshadweep. Mainly dry weather will prevail over Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, east Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, Chattisgarh, Gujarat state, Konkan and Goa, south Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada, Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka.

Very light rains have occurred at isolated places in Chattisgarh.

Rain or thundershowers have occurred at isolated places in west Madhya Pradesh and Madhya Maharashtra and Andman and Nicobar Islands.

Mainly dry weather prevailed over east Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, Gujrat state, Konkan and Goa, Marathwada, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Kerala and Lakshadweep.

Day temperatures were appreciably below normal in interior Karnataka and below normal in some parts of Assam and Meghalaya, east Uttar Pradesh and Rayalseema. They were appreciably to markedly above normal in some parts of Orissa, west Rajasthan, west Madhya Pradesh, Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada, Vidarbha, Telangana and coastal Andhra Pradesh and above normal in Haryana. They were normal over the rest of the country.
