New Delhi, Dec 2 (UNI) A BJP delegation, led by party President Rajnath Singh, will meet President A P J Adbul Kalam tomorrow to demand imposition of President's rule in Uttar Pradesh for ensuring free, fair and fearless upcoming assembly elections in the state.

The BJP team included former UP Chief Minister Kalyan Singh and other senior state party leaders.

The decision to call on the President was taken by the BJP leaders at the meeting attended by former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee and Leader of Opposition L K Advani last night.

The party contended that President's rule alone can ensure free polls as the administration has become a puppet in the hands of ruling Samajwadi party, as seen recently during the local body elections to urban areas.

The party alleged that there was a need to revise the voters' list and weed out those who were ineligible for voting.
