32nd National Women Sports Fest-06 commences in Jammu

Jammu, Dec 2 (UNI) The 32nd National Women Sports Festival-2006 in the disciplines of kabbadi, kho-kho and volley ball was declared open at the Moulana Azad Stadium here today.

Nearly 1000 players from 22 states and union territories are taking part in the festival, being organised by Jammu and Kashmir State Sports Council under the aegis of Sports Authority of India.

Jammu and Kashmir Minister of State for Sports Babu Singh graced the opening ceremony as the chief guest.
