Robbers loot Rs 10 to 12 Lakhs from SBI, Ranichannammanagar Branch

Belgaum, Dec 1 (UNI) A seven member gang have looted Rs 10 lakhs to Rs 12 lakhs from State Bank of India, Ranichannamma Nagar Branch here today.

Superintendent of Police Hemant Bimbalkar told UNI that the gang members who entered the branch posing themselves as customers, forced their entry into the Manager's chamber and by showing revolver took him (Manager) to strong room and after looting the cash left the bank quietly.

The miscreants were stated to be in the age group of 25-35.

Dog Squad and fingerprint experts were pressed into service.
