Rains likely in Lakshadweep, Kerala and Andaman-Nicobar Islands

Pune, Dec 1 (UNI) Rain or snow are likely to occur at isolated places in Uttaranchal, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir.

Rain or thundershowers are likely to occur at many places in Lakshadweep and at a few places in Kerala, Andman and Nicobar Islands and at isolated place in Haryana, Punjab, Madhya Pradesh, coastal Andhra Pradesh, Rayalseema, Tamil Nadu, coastal and south interior Karnataka. Mainly dry weather will prevail over Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Vidarbha, Chattisgarh, Gujarat state, Konkan and Goa, Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada, Telangana and north interior Karnataka.

Very light rains have occured at isolated places in east Madhya Pradesh and Chattisgarh.

Rains or thundershowers have occurred at isolated places in west Madhya Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Andaman and Nicobar Islands and mainly dry weather prevailed over Vidarbha, Gujarat state, Konkan and Goa, Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala and Lakshadweep.

Night temperatures were appreciably below normal in Manipur, east Assam and below normal in Punjab, Jammu and Kashmir, northeast Rajasthan and in some parts of east Uttar Pradesh and interior Karnataka. They were appreciably to markedly above normal in Orissa and in some parts of Gujarat region, south Madhya Pradesh, north Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada, Vidarbha, Telangana and of coastal Karnataka and were above normal in northwest southeast Rajasthan and coastal Andhra Pradesh. They were normal over rest of the country.
