Jaipur, Dec 1 (UNI) Bosch, the German auto parts major through its flagship subsidiary Motor Industries Company Limited (MICO) plans to transform its Jaipur plant into a ''global centre of competence'' with an investment of Rs1,800 crore in the next four years.

At a press conference jointly addressed by General Managers A Krishna and Carlos Gallani of the plant in Jaipur said the group plans to invest Rs 1,800 crore in the next four years to make its plant in Jaipur as a ''competancy centre for Bosch for the emerging markets''.

Bosch entered Rajasthan in 1997 when it signed an MoU with the state government for setting up an hi-tech auto component manufacturing facility with an initial investment of Rs 240 crore.
