TADA court defers pronouncement of final verdict till Monday
Mumbai, Nov 30 (UNI) The special TADA court today deferred till Monday the pronouncement of its final verdict on the six blast accused of lobbing a hand grenade at the fishermen colony, following widespread violent Dalit protests across Maharashtra.
The application, seeking directions from the court to defer the pronouncement of it's verdict which was originally scheduled to be pronounced tomorrow, was moved by the Defence counsels.
A total of 123 accused are facing trial in the Mumbai serial bomb blasts of March 1993. Till date, the court has pronounced it's verdict on 117 accused, of which 94 have been found guilty while 23 were acquitted.
