RJD MPs slam absence of Hindi version of Sachar Committee report

New Delhi, Nov 30 (UNI) Senior RJD member Ramkripal Yadav today drew the attention of the house to the Government's failure to provide the Hindi version of the Sachhar Committee report, as laid down under constitutional provisions.

''As per per the rule, any report that is to be tabled in the house should be in both Hindi and English,'' he said, adding that in this case, the report should have been made available in Urdu also.

His party colleague Devendra Prasad Yadav also supported the issue and wanted to know from the Parliamentary Affairs Minister by what time this report would be available in Hindi.

Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs B K Handique, however, failed to provide any specific date and said that he will find out what is the position in this matter.
