Mahasrashtra Seamless in Forbes 200 best under bln cos

New Delhi, Nov 30 (UNI) Maharashtra Seamless Ltd has been recognised as one of the 200 'Best Under A Billion' companies by Forbes magazine.

''Forbes Asia's annual 'Best Under A Billion' selections showcase the region's most dynamic publicly traded firms with sales under a billion dollars. Track records of sustained growth and profitability distinguish these companies, as do savvy management teams with business models increasingly aimed at sales both at home and abroad,'' the magazine says.

The company will also be included in 'BSE-200' Index from January 8 next year.

Maharashtra Seamless engaged in supplying seamless pipes and tubes to various international oil and gas companies is making significant inroads in the global market. This has enabled the company to increase the customer base globally.

It is also considering to open the marketing/representative offices abroad to capture the rising opportunities currently prevailing in the sector.
