Goa's Desai appointed manager of India cricket team for test series

Panaji, Nov 30 (UNI) Goa Cricket Association (GCA) Secretary Chetan Desai has been appointed as the manager of Indian cricket team for test series to be played at South Africa from December 4 to January 7 next year.

Mr Desai will leave for South Africa on December 3 from Mumbai.

He will reach Mumbai from Goa on December 2, according to a release issued by GCA today.

Desai's appointment has been done on special recommendation made by BCCI Vice-President Dayanand Narvekar, who is also the president of the Goa Cricket Association.
