Fiji military gives PM 24-hr "clean-up" ultimatum

SUVA, Nov 30 (Reuters) Fiji's military commander today gave Prime Minister Laisenia Qarase an ultimatum to clean up his government within 24 hours or the armed forces would move against the South Pacific island premier.

''He only has the next 24 hours to clean up his government's act. If they don't then I will do it for them,'' news Web site www.fijilive.com quoted military Commander Bainimarama as saying.
