Karimnagar, Andhra Pradesh, Nov 30 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy today assured the agitated beedi workers that he would urge the Centre to amend the law to remove the stipulated pictorial warning of 'skull and bones' on beedi packs.
Campaigning for the Congress in the Karimnagar Lok Sabha by-poll, Dr Reddy dismissed the Opposition parties' allegation that he was making the assurance to appease the two lakh beedi workers of the 14.5 lakh total voters in the constituency.
