Tata Steel Bags the Best Pavilion Award

Jamshedpur, Nov 29 (UNI)Steel major Tata Steel has been adjudged first in the Mega Enterprises/PSUs category by the Government of Jharkhand for participating in the Jharkhand Pavilion at the India International Trade Fair (IITF)2006 in New Delhi,a company sources said here today.

The IITF, held in Pragati Maidan from November14-27, provided a common platform for the manufacturers, traders, exporters and importers from across the globe. Small and Medium Enterprises and Tourism was the special theme this year.

More than 30 organisations participated in the Jharkhand Pavilion.

Tata Steel represented the states of Jharkhand, Orissa and Chhattisgarh respectively. The Company has plans to setup three Greenfield plants in the mentioned states.
