Cranes Software bags UK Trade and Investment's New Entrant Award
Bangalore, Nov 29 (UNI) Cranes Software International Ltd, the global Scientific and Engineering Software products and solutions provider, has won the UK Trade and Investment (UKTI) award for the New Market Entrant of the Year.
UK Deputy High Commissioner (South India) Mike Connor presented the award to Cranes' Chairman Dr Rudra Pratap here today.
The UKTI awards, instituted under the aegis of the UK Trade and Investment, the British Government's international business development agency, aimed at boosting the UK's strong business links with India. These awards were designed to recognise and celebrate exceptional entrepreneurial and innovative talent, acknowledge vigorous bilateral trade and commerce and the profitable partnership potential which existed between India and the UK.
Speaking on the occasion, Cranes Managing Director Asif Khader said ''we recognise the award as an embodiment of our desire to establish ever more mutually beneficial linkages between the Indian and UK corporate community. This award is a high recognition for Cranes as it underlines Cranes' commitment to reach out to an ever incrementing customer base among the global scientific community.'' Cranes Software, which has presence in 38 countries and 350,000 strong global user base, addressed the Scientific and Engineering software related needs of multinational companies, Governments, defence establishments, educational and research institutions.
