Laxman confident of putting up good show in South Africa

Hyderabad, Nov 27 (UNI) Stylist batsman VVS Laxman today said he was 100 per cent fit and was confident of putting up a good show in South Africa.

Talking to newspersons here, he said the South African pitches suited his style of batting.

''I am sure I will not let the team down,'' he said.

Laxman, who was called up to replace injured Rahul Dravid by national selection comittee, said ''Dravid is a better player than me, but it is sad that he is injured. It's like bolt from the blue.'' Due to visa problem, Laxman might not play in the next ODI but he would be available for the final match, confirmed national selector Venkatapathy Raju.
