KARACHI, Nov 27 (Reuters) Pakistan lost two key wickets in reaching 88 for two at lunch on day one of the third and final test against the West Indies today.

West Indies picked up the wickets of Mohammad Hafeez (18) and Younis Khan (20) after losing the toss. Opener Imran Farhat was on 41 with Mohammad Yousuf on six.

Yousuf, who has hit seven hundreds this year, needs 149 runs to break Vivian Richards tally of 1710 runs in a calendar year.

West Indies, who brought back experienced batsman Ramnaresh Sarwan in place of left-arm spinner Dave Mohammed, were fortunate to break a threatening second-wicket stand of 46 between Farhat and Younis.

Daren Powell, showing quick reflexes, collected the ball in his follow through and beat Younis with a direct throw by a couple of yards.

Younis had started stroking the ball well hitting three fours, two of them drives off Jerome Taylor.

Corey Collymore made the first breakthrough when he bowled Hafeez with an inswinging delivery that kept low and took off stump after an opening stand of 26.

Farhat looked solid playing some flowing drives and cut shots as he faced 84 balls and hit seven fours.

The left-hander made two half centuries in the high-scoring second test in Multan after Pakistan won the first in Lahore by nine wickets.
