Chemicals worth Rs 11.23 lakh stolen from tanker at Kakrapara

Surat, Nov 27 (UNI) Kakarapara police today arrested the driver and cleaner when they were allegedly trying to steal chemicals from a tanker at Katkar village on Surat-Dhulia road.

Rural police said the tanker was on way to Vadodara to deliver chemicals to a chemical trader. However, they deviated the tanker to Katkar village on Surat-Dhulia road and removed chemicals worth Rs 11.23 lakh to be handed over to a party there. The driver and the cleaner were apprehended while delivering the consignment.
