PMK stage demo to protest massacre of Tamils in SL

Tiruchirapalli, Nov 26 (UNI) About 100 volunteers of the Pattali Makkal Katchi (PMK), including few women, as part of their state-wide agitation today, staged a demonstration in front of the district collectorate here to protest killings of Tamils in Sri Lanka.

Led by party state vice-president Kesava Ramalingam and district secretary Sridharan, they raised slogans against the alleged ''genocide'' committed by the Sri Lankan armed forces on Tamils.

Similar agitations were held by the PMK men at Srirangam and Musiri in the district.
