Maoist ultras blow up school in Jharkhand

Latehar, Nov 25 (UNI) CPI(Maoist) activists blew up a school in this district of Jharkhand late last night the third consecutive attack on the building this year.

Superintendent of Police Ravikant Dhan today said, ''The naxalites had targetted the Herhanj primary school under Balumath police station area earlier on two occasions.'' He said last night's attack has completely razed the remaining portion of the structure.

On November 23, a police team had visited the area and the ultras blew up the school the very next day, he said.

However, no one was injured in the incident.
