Influx of Bollywood films in IFFI : Mammooty
Kochi, Nov 25: Malayalam actor Mammooty today said the influx of Bollywood films at the ongoing International Film Festival of India (IFFI) in Goa has adversely affected the interests of regional films.
Speaking at a function here, Mr Mammooty said most of the IFFI delegates were not aware of regional film industries, especially Malayalam film industry, as most of the Indian films screened were Bollywood movies.
The Malayalam films virtually have no visibility in the IFFI which was really sad, he noted.
Mr Mammooty was attending a function of the Kalyan Jewellers for which the actor is the brand ambassodor.
