Bipasha set to play 'Draupadi' in Rituparno's film

Panaji, Nov 25 (UNI) Dusky Bollywood beauty Bipasha Basu will play ''Draupadi'' in a Bengali film by Rituparno Ghosh in which the drama of Mahabharat a will unfold from the eyes of woman.

''We have just decided to do the film .But, the idea has not taken off because of non co-ordination of dates and support cast,'' she said while refusing to divulge more details. ''let the film be announced officially,'' she said.

The film will portray Mahabharata through Draupadi's eyes.

Interestingly, Ravi Chopra who immortalised Mahabharat on small screen nearly two decades ago is also all set to portray the grand epic on silver screen while Bobby Bedi will bring ''The Mahabharata'' on television in a new avatar.
