One year achievement of Nitish is like an "air bubble" : Lalu
Patna, Nov 24 (UNI) RJD chief and Railway Minister Lalu Prasad today drew a parallel of the one-year achievements of Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar with that of ''India shining'' of the previous Vajpayee government at the Centre.
Talking to newsmen here, Mr Prasad said ''The promise of Mr Kumar to change Bihar within three months of coming to power had flopped'', saying the situation had even come to worse as roads, education and health services were in shambles.
He said the government had failed to utilise the Centrally sponsored development fund, alleging atrocities on dalits had increased many fold.
Mr Prasad dubbed the anti-corruption move of the Nitish Kumar government as a ''gimmick'' as small fries were being caught in the net of anti-corruption drive, whereas the big fishes were going scotfree.
Mr Prasad suggested his bete noire to come out from the clutches of the BJP and the RSS to safeguard his socialist image.
He further said there was actually ''jungle raj'' in Bihar as JD(U) leader Prabhunath Singh facing criminal cases and charges of threatening witness was roaming free.
