English Channel swimmer says he has to prove he has brains
Hyderabad, Nov 24 (UNI) Additional Commissioner of Police Rajiv Trivedi, who recently swam the English Channel, today jokingly said that he now needed to prove he had brains.
Addressing a pre-conference workshop on 'Management of Spasticity in Cerebral Palsy' at the Nizam's Institute of Medical Sciences here, he said Dr A K Purohit, Department Head, Neuro-Surgery had said he (Trivedi) had great physical and mental strength to cross the 40 mile English Channel in 30 hours, in five degrees C temperature.
'Most of my well-wishers say lack of brains was the cause for that achievement. I must now prove I have brains,' Mr Trivedi quipped.
Earlier, Mr Purohit said containing crime was very important and every citizen should be happy on how successful Mr Trivedi was in handling this task in Hyderabad city.
