A man sentenced to life imprisonment for killing his wife

Davengere, Nov 24 (UNI) The Fast Track Court has awarded life term to a man arrested on the charges of murdering his wife suspecting her fidility seven-month back.

Delivering the judgement, Judge R Chandrashekar yesterday also slapped a fine of Rs 10,000 on K Rajappa after convicting him.

According to the prosecution, the accused killed his wife Shantamma with a wooden club in Attikere village seven months ago suspspecting her fidelity.

Davengere Rural Police submitted the chargesheet before the court against the accused.
