Priyanka Chopra favours Goa as film festival destination

Panaji, Nov 23 (UNI) Noted Bollywood film star Priyanka Chopra today said she always preferred Goa for film shooting schedules as it is an enchanting place for the cinema buffs.

Interacting with mediapersons after the launch of the IFFI theme song video cassette here in presence of Chief Minister Pratapsingh Rane at Kala Academy here today, she said she had even signed a film to be shot in Goa recently.

''I always like to watch films as I have a lot of interest. But unlike in the West, our schedules are very tight. The decision to hold the festival (here) is very sensible and the increasing participation of the people in the festival proves it,'' she said.

She will participate in the cultural extravaganza this evening immediately after the inaugural session of the 37th edition of the IFFI.
