Bangalore, Nov 23 (UNI)Discovery Travel and Living, will premier on November 26 a six half hour series "Indian Rendezvous" depecting a riveting series on the six metros of India, their unique gastronomy, art and music and adventure and travel opportunities.

Beginning with Bangalore the Show would be anchored by well known personalities from each city. The presenters would be Vasundara Das, Sushma Reddy, Ayaan Ali Khan, Nagesh Kukunoor, Konkana Sen Sharma and Meera Vasudevan.

Discovery Networks India Managing Director Deepak Shourie told newsmen here today that the show would travel to 155 countries across the world providing an unparalleled journey into the best of India's biggest cities. It captured variety of themes offered by Bangalore, Mumbai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Kolkota and Chennai."Rendezvous reflects the vibrant spirit and soul of modern India" he said adding that the half hour slot was too little to capture the entire essence these cities presented and hoped that a series would have a second part in the near future.

The show would dazzle the viewers with India's magnetism, be it Nrityagram or MTR and the pub culture in Bangalore, Nightlife and bollywood glamour of Mumbai, Fashion houses and chaats of Delhi, Hyderabadi pearls and briyani and, Durga Puja and Bengali sweets from Kolkota and naadi astrology and Kancheepuram saris of Chennai.

Talking to newsmen, anchoring the Bangalore part said it was a privilege for her to host the show being born and brought up in the city. Indian Rendezvous presents the city for all seasons in its totality and splendour. Sushma Reddy who anchor's the Mumbai episode said she was thrilled to present her favourite city. Colourful, vibrant, energetic and friendly, Mumbai would always remain the gateway to India.

The series also captured some of the country's leading artists and personalities discussing and showcasing their talents, including a visit to the idyllic dance gurukul, Nrityagram of late Protima Bedi, Kathak Maestro Birju Maharaj, Tabala wizard Bikram Ghose from Kolkota and drummer Shivmoni.
