Consultancy firm dupes jobseekers, collects Rs 7 lakh

Hyderabad, Nov 23 (UNI) Police have registered a case against a manpower agency for duping gullible unemployed youth by promising jobs abroad.

According to police, one Satyanarayana and his wife, who were running 'Success Career Consultancy' in Secunderabad for the last two years had collected Rs seven lakh from four unemployed youth in the city by promising them hotel jobs in Seychelles.

The couple took them to Mumbai and disappeared from there.

Realising that they were cheated, the youths returned here and lodged a police complaint.

A hunt was on to nab the couple, police added.
